This is a game I really want to like, but I just can’t. Graphics are the same as they were in 2000. It seems the developer is oblivious to UX design, and there are no comprehensive instructions. When I tried this in the tug I heard three bangs which sounded like someone kicking a wheelie-bin, and I was flung out and witnessed it sink from underwater. Good look figuring out how to get back to the bridge. Just to compound things, the camera doesn’t reset if you restart the game and choose a new boat, so you might find yourself facing a bulkhead, floating in the sky or out in the sea. It's an absolute nightmare and you'll likely end up not where you wanted to be. There is a free camera also and God help anyone trying to use this to move around. Worst of all, it isn't configurable, so not only are we stuck with a mouse that is inverted, but there is no possibility to change it to suit our needs. Looking around with the mouse is like trying to cut the back of your own hair using two mirrors-only possible to those who have specially trained in this circus feat. Rarely have I seen such a sprawling mess. It’s hard to believe that a game that has been around for 20 years in one form or another and which has great potential as platform for maritime scenarios and simulations can be this rough.
